General Information
Little Friends is a bilingual Montessori school which was established in 1999.
The school is a member of the Montessori Association of Switzerland (www.montessori-suisse.ch) and respects the criterias to use the Montessori name in Switzerland
The school caters for children aged 3 to 6 years of all nationalities.
The class group consists of a maximum of 18 children.
This family environment allows the teachers to observe the children, to offer them activities the allow them evolve at their own pace, to encourage them to explore knowledge, to awaken their curiosity...
The mixed age group allows for socialisation and provides many opportunities for children to help each other, cooperate and share.
Thus, the classroom atmosphere aims to develop self-confidence, self-esteem and independence.
At Little Friends, children are immersed in a bilingual environment throughout the day. Each teacher speaks in her language of reference and supports the children in learning the target language with appropriate activities.
The children evolve in a very bright 75m² space with direct access to the residential park. Every day, we enjoy the playground, the games provided and the surrounding nature.
The school is located near the centre of Thônex, in a quiet residential area of Geneva. It is easily accessible either by car or by public transport (Bus 5 and 25 stop Thônex - Vallard or Tram 12 stop Graveson).
